Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the SlydeBuy marketplace operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] — customers, retailers, and drivers. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Using the Platform means agreeing to these rules.

1. Scope

This AUP sets the minimum standards for using SlydeBuy. It works alongside applicable law and the requirements of the payment providers we use. Where a payment provider's rules are stricter, those rules also apply to transactions processed through that provider.

2. Payment & account integrity

You must not:

3. Safety & respectful conduct

You must not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse drivers, retailer staff, other users, or SlydeBuy personnel. Customers must provide safe, lawful delivery conditions; drivers must handle orders and interactions safely and lawfully. Violence, threats, weapons brandishing, and unsafe driving are prohibited.

4. Platform integrity

You must not:

5. Lawful & eligible orders

You must use the Platform only for lawful orders you are eligible to place, and you must satisfy any age or identity verification required for restricted items at delivery. You must not order on behalf of someone who is ineligible in order to bypass restrictions.

6. Prohibited & restricted items

You must not use the Platform to order, list, or deliver items that are illegal or that our payment providers or applicable law prohibit. Restricted items — such as age-restricted goods where offered — may only be handled in compliance with applicable requirements and verification. Prohibited categories are aligned with the requirements of the payment providers SlydeBuy uses and may be updated as those requirements change.

7. Retailer obligations

Retailers must provide accurate listings, descriptions, pricing, and availability, must not list prohibited merchandise, and must honor the return eligibility they represent for their goods. Misleading listings, bait pricing, and deceptive practices are prohibited.

8. User content & personal data

You must not post content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or that violates others' privacy. You must not misuse personal information you encounter through the Platform — for example, a driver must use a customer's address only to complete the delivery, and must not retain or share it for other purposes.

9. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this AUP has been violated, we may investigate and take action proportionate to the issue, including removing content, canceling orders, limiting features, withholding or reversing payouts where permitted, suspending or terminating accounts, cooperating with payment providers and law enforcement, and reporting unlawful activity. We may act immediately where there is a risk to safety, security, or payment integrity.

10. Reporting & contact

Report suspected violations, safety concerns, or misuse to [email protected]. Payment-integrity matters may also be sent to [email protected], and legal notices to [email protected], addressed to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [BUSINESS MAILING ADDRESS].

These policies are published in good faith to describe how SlydeBuy operates. They are not legal advice, and they should be reviewed by qualified counsel for your specific circumstances before relied upon.
